All work undertaken and
information supplied by the client
will be kept strictly confidential
and a signed confidentiality
agreement will be signed if
required by client.

Invoices for one-off assignments
will be issued on completion of
work for payment within 14 days.

Invoices for ongoing work will be
issued at the end of each week for
payment within 14 days.

For individuals, payment will be
due by cash on delivery of
completed work.

Payment to be made by cheque made
out to “Lost 4 Words” or BACS

Charges are per hour and a
minimum charge of 1 hour at
relevant hourly rate is applicable
to all projects.

If a client requires us to post
bulk mailings, all postage costs
must be paid for in advance.

For any work involving the
telephone or sending e-mails,
appropriate costs will be charged
as necessary.

Stationery, printing and postage
costs will be applied as
appropriate.

If work is to be carried out at
client’s premises, or work is to
be collected and/or delivered to
client, mileage will be charged at
0.40p per mile to and from
client’s premises.

Initial enquiries regarding a new
task and, if necessary, a meeting
with a new client is free of
charge. However, any time spent
discussing an assignment in detail
will be charged at the appropriate
hourly rate.

Time spent on an assignment
including liaison with a client by
telephone, fax, e-mail, etc or
during face to face meetings, will
be charged at the appropriate
hourly rate.

Final responsibility for
proofreading errors in completed
work rests with the client.
Should any errors be found in the
work, these will be rectified free
of charge.

Any amendments to work following
completion, not the fault of Lost
4 Words, will be charged
according to current rates.

A signed Booking Form is required
prior to commencement of work
indicating client’s acceptance of
these Terms and Conditions.

In the case of urgent deadlines,
a
surcharge of 50% may be applicable
